Microsoft & Business Central

Business Central Support & Maintenance

An ERP system is not finished after go-live. Requirements change, staff move on, and twice a year Microsoft rolls out a new release wave. We take over ongoing support for your Business Central environment — with a named contact instead of an anonymous ticket system.

More services

Most support requests in day-to-day ERP work are not emergencies but friction: a report doesn't show what it should. A permission is missing. A document can't be posted and nobody knows why. If such points are left unresolved, workarounds appear — and workarounds are the beginning of every shadow IT. That is exactly why it pays to have a contact who knows your system and doesn't start from scratch with every ticket.

Our support covers user support for key users and business units, analysis and resolution of errors, smaller adjustments and reports during live operation, and maintenance of permissions and master data structures. On request we also monitor your interfaces, so a silent failure in the nightly data sync isn't first noticed in accounting.

Release waves are a focus of their own: Microsoft updates Business Central Online twice a year, in April and October. We check in advance which changes affect you, test your extensions against the preview version and schedule adjustments before the update goes live. That turns a potential incident into a planned appointment.

Guidance through the stabilisation phase, when daily business raises the questions nobody had during testing.

// 02

Changing partner

// 03

Release wave without surprises

Testing extensions against the preview version so the semi-annual update doesn't cause downtime.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Still have open questions? We're happy to clarify them in an initial call.

Do you also take over systems you didn't implement?
Yes, that happens regularly. We start with an inventory: version in use, extensions, interfaces, open issues. You receive documentation of the state we find — also as a basis should you later want to take over internally.
Are there fixed response times?
Yes. Response times and availability are agreed in writing and matched to how critical your processes are. A production standstill is handled differently from a report adjustment.
Do we need a maintenance contract or is time-and-materials possible?
Both are possible. A contract with a fixed quota pays off as soon as there is regular demand — it secures response times and makes costs predictable. Occasional support is billed on a time-and-materials basis.
