Dynamics 365 Business Central
The ERP system. Essentials covers finance, purchasing, sales, inventory and projects; Premium adds manufacturing and service management. Team Members is a read-and-light-entry licence for occasional users.

Microsoft 365 Business
The office baseline: mailbox, Office applications and cloud storage. Basic is web-only, Standard includes the installed Office apps, Premium adds device management and advanced security. One of these licences is a prerequisite for Copilot.

Microsoft Copilot
Copilot is not a single product with one price but a family of licences. The add-on prices below each assume a suitable Microsoft 365 licence. Copilot features inside Dynamics 365 are partly billed via credits.

What this table does not show
The licence is the item you can look up — and over the lifetime rarely the largest one. On top come implementation and configuration, migrating data from the legacy system, interfaces to shop, bank or logistics, key-user training, plus ongoing support and updates.

They are Microsoft's prices for the German market, as published on the official product pages. We reproduce them unchanged so that the licence question has a direct answer. This is not a binding offer — the actual price depends among other things on the purchasing route, the term and the number of licences.
Are the prices net or gross?
Net, so excluding VAT, and in euro. Unless stated otherwise, annual billing applies; Microsoft's monthly payment options are usually higher.
How current is this overview?
Every figure was last checked against the linked Microsoft pages on 10 August 2026. Microsoft revises prices regularly; in case of doubt the linked original page applies. This page is built so that it cannot go stale unnoticed.
Why is the cost of a project not listed here?
Because it cannot honestly be put in a table. The licence is the part anyone can look up; implementation, data migration, interfaces, training and ongoing operation depend on the company and usually make up the larger share over the lifetime. Does every employee need a full licence?
Usually not. Business Central has a considerably cheaper Team Members licence for everyone who reads data, records time or raises requests but does not work in the system all day. Splitting full and Team Members licences correctly is one of the biggest levers on running cost.
