Microsoft & Business Central

NAV → Business Central — Fixed-Price Upgrade

Many companies still run Dynamics NAV (Navision) versions without active vendor support. We review your customisation status, extensions and interfaces — and provide a binding fixed-price quote for the upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. No nasty surprises mid-project.

More services

Sticking with an old Navision version costs you twice: in missing security updates and in every workaround that outdated technology forces on you. Moving to Business Central brings you back into active Microsoft support, opens up the cloud options that make modern integrations and AI features possible, and ends your dependence on specialist knowledge for long-discontinued releases.

The risk in NAV upgrades traditionally lies in the customisations: C/AL code grown over years, individual reports and interfaces that nobody has fully documented. This is exactly where our detailed analysis comes in. We inventory customising, extensions and integrations, assess what gets carried over to AL, replaced or dropped — and turn the result into a fixed scope with a binding price.

So you know what the upgrade costs and how long it takes before the first implementation step. Migration of historical documents is loss-free, tested and traceable; after go-live we support the stabilisation phase. The fixed-price model applies after the completed analysis based on the jointly documented scope.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Still have open questions? We're happy to clarify them in an initial call.

Will our customisations be preserved?
In the detailed analysis we assess each customisation individually: what gets carried over as an AL extension, what is replaced by standard functionality and what is redundant today. The goal is a lean, upgrade-safe solution — not blindly dragging along legacy ballast.
Why move from NAV to Business Central at all?
Older NAV versions no longer receive security updates and block modern integrations, cloud operation and AI features. Business Central is the direct successor — technically current, supported by Microsoft and future-proof.
Is the fixed price really binding?
Yes — after the detailed analysis and based on the jointly documented scope. Work outside that scope is agreed separately, so the agreed price stays stable.
